After Hymn! (2016) is the third annual commissioned. The play explores the dreams of 15 year old Martin Pewbury to become a rockstar. His life is disrupted when he’s dragged by his father to the estate of his great Aunt Anna in order to receive an unexpected inheritance. When Martin meets the elusive Mr.Watts, his dream to be a famous rock star takes him on a musical journey that’s so much more than he bargained for.
Vision:
- To build upon the success of the previous two commissioned plays (Three Monologues and That Towering Cross) to raise more funds for the work of CAPCC
- To further expand the mailing list and brand awareness of CAPCC’s work
