That Towering Cross (2015)  is an Easter production commissioned by CAPCC.  In the play, Anna returns to the small town church she grew up attending for its annual Easter production after a ten year absence. When she meets Joshua after the performance, her view of the cross as a tired, old symbol is challenged not only by his invitation to imagine it differently, but her need for it to be something more.
Results:

  • Through 4 performances, the play helped to raise more than $85,000 for charity
  • The organization used the sold-out performances to build their mailing lists and awareness of their work, as a result, CAPCC increase donations by 60% and on average, monthly donors increased giving by $1
