The first Freedom Night was a success!  We want to thank everyone who was part of the launch of screenings dedicated to raising awareness about human trafficking with proceeds directed to an important project in Thailand.

The new She Has A Name initiative was launched on February 22, 2019 is Human Trafficking Awareness Day in Canada.  

Proceeds from each Freedom Night will be directed toward funding an aftercare program and Restaurant in Thailand operated by women that have been rescued from sexual exploitation. The first two screenings took place on Vancouver Island.

Churches, organizations and individuals from across the nation are invited to host Freedom Nights to raise a collective shout for Justice. 

What happens on a Freedom Night?

Groups of people who are passionate about the arts, justice and making positive changes in the world gather for a meaningful night. A typical schedule looks like this:

  • Welcome from host & Filmmakers
  • Screening of She Has A Name
  • Short break
  • Time of prayer for Justice
  • Donation to “New Beginnings Project”
