Red Deer native Andrew Kooman’s play, She Has A Name, was screened in the City last weekend.

Without question, bringing the profound play She Has A Name to the silver screen – in such a richly told and meaningful way – has marked a monumental achievement.

The World Premiere of She Has A Name takes place December 2, 2016 with screenings in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa; London, England; Belfast, Ireland; and Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. December 2 was chosen as it is the UN’s International Day for the Abolition of Slavery.
