The Alberta-made film She Has A Name has been acquired by Flix Premiere, the international online digital platform that features award winning movies with exclusive online premieres.
Described as the world’s first online Cinema, She Has A Name joins a prestigious selection of Flix Premiere’s award-winning titles.
“I’m excited to see the film enter a new life cycle with international distribution,” says She Has A Name director and producer Daniel Kooman. “This is a great opportunity to bring our film to a wider audience in international markets.”
Flix Premiere will premiere the film on November 17, 2017 in the United States with an online premiere in the United Kingdom the following week on November 25, 2017. Following the exclusive online premieres, the film will be available for viewing on its platform in both markets.
“Both of the dates in the US and the UK will be an online ‘red carpet’ event,” explains Kooman. “It’s an exciting way to launch to a new platform and to be introduced to Flix Premiere’s wide audience of film lovers.”
The distribution deal highlight’s the independent film’s appeal to audiences. She Has A Name continues to play the festival circuit, and was recently selected for the Australia/Singapore Film Festival. It is an official selection for Amnesty International Au Cinema Pour Les Droits, a human rights film festival in France.
