A new chapter to our story as Unveil Studios began with a long flight overseas, made longer by fires over Russia which we could not see under the dark cloak of night. Smoke forced our pilot’s hand to detour around the plumes, adding two hours to our flight time.

Our South East Asian location scout has triggered the pre-production phase for a feature length film of She Has A Name. As the play was being brought to life on the stage, Andrew was working on a screen adaptation of the story.

We’re excited about how the screen adaptation amplifies the story. We agree with an early review by a theatre critic from the Montreal Gazette who applauded the play while it toured Canada in 2012 that this story will be served well in film.

As we travel through Thailand and Cambodia our eyes and hearts are open to the possibilities of where Number 18’s story will take place on the silver screen. If this new chapter had a title, you might want to call it “Adventure.”
