A Filmmaker’s Search for Revival
Synopsis: There are words in every language that are powerful and more meaningful than others. There are even a choice few words that have captured the heart and desire of entire generations. Revival is one such word. Over the course of three years, Canadian filmmaker Daniel Kooman journeyed to five continents and twenty unique nations with the word revival at the forefront of his mind.
Follow Daniel and David Youngren from impoverished areas in Tanzania, to wealthy cities in Europe, to growing nations like Colombia and South Africa as they ask compelling questions. If revival stories and movements occurred in the past, is revival still taking place in the world right now? Many people have heard stories about miracles, signs and wonders, but do they still happen in the world today? What is revival really about and who is revival meant for? Is Jesus really alive today?
In A Filmmaker’s Search for Revival you will see how every nation, with it’s different history and culture still shares so much in common with the other nations of the world. But what may surprise you is how this search for corporate revival may ultimately lead to personal revelation.
