The She Has A Name Film Team is proud to announce that Charlie Ruedpokanon is playing the role of Victor in the film adaptation of the critically acclaimed stage play by Andrew Kooman.
Born and raised in NYC, and currently based in Bangkok Thailand, Charlie Ruedpokanon is an up-and-coming actor best known for his work on films such as Only God Forgives, Ninja 2 – Shadow of a Tear, and The Man with the Iron Fists 2. He is fluent in English, Thai, and Mandarin and can currently be seen in the Thai TV drama – The Reincarnation.
As Victor in She Has A Name he plays a policeman at the beginning of a promising career who is tempted by the shortcuts to worldly success by the power players of organized crime in Bangkok.
Along with acting he is an established stunt performer and is co-founder of The Action Guys stunt team. Charlie is also one of the main, featured stories in the Tiger Beer – Uncage campaign which focuses on his life and work in the film industry.
Shot in Thailand, She Has A Name is a dramatic thriller. The film focuses on an investigation into a trafficking incident in South East Asia and explores the layers of corruption, globally, that enable the illegal sex trade to thrive.
The film is being directed by Matthew and Daniel Kooman from a screenplay by Andrew Kooman. The Kooman brothers along with Donna Abraham and Shari Aspinall are producing. Lance Kadatz is Executive Producer.
