Picking brains: philosophy, hockey, faith and music

If you’ve followed me online, you may have picked up that I love interviews and enjoy learning from others through asking questions.  It’s been a theme of life as long as I can remember.

And so I’ve been grateful that I’ve been able to merge this interest into my role Content, Editorial and Public Relations Manager at Compassion Canada.

Over the past few months, I’ve had some really cool opportunities to connect with some incredible individuals, pick their brains, and learn.

Here are a few highlights:

An interview with the Senior Editors of Faith Today: Canada’s Christian Magazine, one of the country’s longest-running multi-denominational magazines, about the importance of religious journalism in Canada and how Faith Today connects and champions the Canadian church. { Read it }

4. Tips from the NHL’s Reimer family on making the most of summer

A short conversation with Compassion sponsors, James and April Reimer, about making the most of the summer after James, who plays goaltender for the Carolina Hurricanes, is done the busy NHL season. { Read it }
