ABOUT
Unveil International Film Festival, UIFF is an International online and annual film festival created for independent filmmakers to promote their inspiring work through an online platform and to a broad audience and at a yearly event.
UNVEIL INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL is a monthly, online international event with an annual live screening festival. We accept work from independent film makers producing documentaries, documentary shorts, narrative features, short films, animations, music videos, and web series. Each month our judges watch, review and rate the submitted films. Each month one work is selected as the ‘Film of the Month’. Each of the four main categories will have a selection for best film and a top 5 official selections for the month in each category. Additionally, each month, one filmmaker will be highlighted in the Filmmakers corner with their featured bio.
Every Month the ‘Film of the Month’ will receive a cash award of ($100USD), and all winners will receive a free wavier code for their next submission.
‘Film of the Month’ winners will also have the option to a meeting with industry insiders to pitch or present current or future projects for distribution on the UnveilTV Channel.
OUR MISSION
Unveil International Film Festival will deliver inspiring Documentary, feature and short films to a global audience, uplifting the viewer and elevating the independent filmmaker.
CATEGORIES
Short Film – Inspiring Shorts – Fiction, Documentaries, Animation films with Duration up to 30 minutes
Documentary – Feature Documentary works over 30 minutes in length
Feature Film – Feature Films with an inspirational message over 30 minutes in length
Series – Inspiring episodic content, narrative or documentary with at least 3 episodes.
RULES AND REGULATION
SUBMISSION
Filmmakers can submit their films to UIFF online through filmfreeway.com. Submissions will be reviewed and selected monthly.
SELECTED FILMS
All selected films will get notification through email upon selection. Submissions are reviewed monthly with Winners and Official Selections released for viewing, highlighted, and promoted on the online festival website the following month. Winners in each category will be included in the yearly festival screening in the beautiful Comox Valley in British Columbia, Canada under the open sky.

Online Screening Duration:
All selected films will remain available as past Winners or Official Selections. If the Filmmaker would like to remove their film’s placement due they can request UIFF to do so.
AWARDS
Monthly Awards are as follows:
Film of The Month – Cash Prize $100 USD + one wavier code per film for their next submission
Best Short Film of The Month – Digital Certificate + one waiver code per film for their next submission.
Best Feature Film of the Month – Digital Certificate + one waiver code per film for their next submission.
Best Web Series of The Month – Digital Certificate + one waiver code per film for their next submission.
Best Documentary Film of the Month – Digital Certificate + one waiver code per film for their next submission.
Filmmaker of The Month – Highlighted written feature on the UIIFF website.

Yearly Festival Awards are as follows:
Film Of The Year Award – Cash Prize of $1000 USD. This award is given to the jury’s top selection from all Official Selections during the year.
Audiences Choice Award – Awarded to top film as selected by the audience at the yearly festival event.
NOTIFICATIONS
After a film has been selected as a Winner or Official Selection, the filmmaker is notified via email. The selected films will be published on the festival website. All films which are selected by UIFF for the online monthly Festival will be informed only by emails & will be listed and published on the festival website. The decision of the selection committee will be final.
FEES
Each entry will be accompanied by a non-refundable fee. Entries will not be processed without entry fee payment. All films will be submitted in digital format.
CASH PRIZE
A cash prize will be awarded for Film of Month ($100USD) and Film Of The Year ($500USD). The Prize will be credited into the PayPal account of the submitter within 30 working days following notification of award.
COPYRIGHTS
By submitting your film to our festival you agree that your piece of work can be uploaded, embedded, distributed and offered on our website. The filmmaker/institution that is submitting the film must own the rights to do so and is responsible for the content they are providing. By submitting, the filmmaker allows UIFF to create a page for their film without infringing the copyright. Filmmakers can make a request to remove their film or work from the website at any time.
FESTIVAL COMMITTEE
The decision of the Festival Committee is final. The decision of jury members will be final. The organizer’s reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes.
DISCLAIMER
The applicant agrees to have read and accepted the rules & regulations for participation in the Unveil International Film Festival. The applicant confirms that he/she has the requisite authority or has obtained the requisite authority from the producer/right holder to enter this film in the Unveil Inspire International Film Festival and make it available for live and digital screening.
